The Talented Scholars Resource Room (TSR^2) located in 16-159 provides support and resources to MIT students in virtually any subject with a focus on first year GIR’s. The sessions are run by advanced upperclassmen and graduate students (TA’s) that are committed to and enjoy teaching and supporting a diverse population of MIT students. The services provided by TSR^2 TA’s include the following:

  • One-on-One Sessions

Students can book a 1hr appointment with a TA in the subject of their choosing through the online TSR^2 scheduling system once they have created an online account on the OME Website.

  • P-Set Nights

These consist of drop-in sessions lead by TA’s from Sunday through Thursday evenings from 6pm to 10pm in the TSR^2 (16-159).  Each night’s session focuses on a specific subject which can be viewed in the Spring 2017 Semester P-Set Night Schedule found here.

  • Exam Reviews

TA’s lead exam reviews in a selection of subjects (mainly GIR’s) throughout each semester.  These reviews take place 24-48 hours before the exam itself.
