First Year Students and Parents please join us for our annual OME Parent/Student Reception on Sunday, August 30th, 2015 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm in La Sala de Puerto Rico in the Stratton Student Center, Building W20-202. Learn about OME programs and services and meet staff, faculty, and other minority first year students over refreshments.

Feeling hungry between finals? Looking for a snack after a study break? Stop by the OME during finals and recharge with Fuel for Thought!

The OME will be open for extended hours from 9AM to 7PM Monday through Thursday to accommodate you and your snacking needs this Finals Season!

How Do You See the World and How Does the World See You?

This 90 minute workshop will explore the unconscious biases that shade our perspectives and impact how we make decisions. 

Representatives from Google, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and BAMIT will share strategies and techniques they use to reduce the negative impact of unconscious bias and increase cultural competency.

Dinner will be served. Additionally, the first 15 to RSVP will be entered for a raffle to win a $50 Amazon gift card. Must be present to win prize
