We are now accepting applications for the 2013 Momentum Program.  This year's theme will be: Improving the Electric Vehicle Charging Experience.  Over the Independent Activities Period participants will work in small teams to design a prototype.  The program will culminate with group presentations to our corporate sponsors. 

Who is eligible to apply?

Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL)

Representatives from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) which is part of the National Aeronautics and Space Administratration (NASA), will be available for you to network with and they will share info about the company. MIT Alumni from the company will also be in attendance.

The following Seminar XL LE expectations are explained in greater detail in the Syllabus which students are expected to read/understand/ print and bring to the first session. Student acknowledges that he/she:

  • Has printed/read and accepts the Seminar XL LE Syllabus/Policies, which describe the expectations from participants
  • Commits himself/herself to observing policies and to contributing to the fulfillment of the Seminar XL LE objectives
  • If a student needs to drop Seminar XL LE, he/she must notify OME
  • Understands that if he/she does not fulfill the Seminar XL LE requirements as delineated by its policies, or if in any way student’s participation is counterproductive to the goals of Seminar XL LE, at any time student may be asked to stop attending the Seminar XL LEmeetings; and if that happens after Drop Date, student will receive an “F” as a final grade
