Xerox looking for Chemical Engineer or Material Scientist!

Product Delivery Engineer

Develop and deliver photoreceptors for use in xerographic cartridge − includes implementation of coating processes at worldwide manufacturing facilities with successful part delivery to supply chain partners.

Job Functions:

  1. Customer interface – work to understand customer requirements with translation to supplier specifications and critical parameters.
  2. Support the development of a materials package for xerographic photoreceptor for domesticated and new products including quality control metrics for critical parameters.
  3. Plan and conduct lab experiments and trials in pilot plant facilities for dispersion milling process definition, dip coating process development, and design latitude understanding. Desired outcome of pilot plant trials will be a comprehensive understanding of process parameters and design latitude of critical parameters.
  4. Interface with internal xerographic testing teams will be essential for establishing and / or applying appropriate techniques for xerographic characterization.
  5. Coordination of physical and / or analytical chemistry method development.
  6. Plan and conduct trials in manufacturing facilities to confirm pilot plant trials, verify process capability, and product quality.
  7. Document development and delivery utilizing a disciplined process.


  1. Education – BS or MS in Chemical Engineering or related field
  2. Familiar with design of experiments, measurement system analysis, and statistical process control
  3. Good Communication skills – verbal/written
  4. Potential travel abroad
  5. Organization skills
  6. “Hands on” – lab, pilot plant , and production facility work
  7. Detail Orientated
  8. Highly motivated
