Chevron Prize
About the Chevron Prize
The Chevron Prize is awarded to a group of individual standout students. If selected as one of the awarded recipients, the Chevron prize will be $2,000 per student. Please review the information and requirements below to be considered. Applications are now closed for the 2022-2023 Academic Cycle and will reopen on September, 25th 2023. Please check back then for more information regarding next years application information and deadlines for the 2023-2024 cycle. Apply here>>
Deadline: Thursday, November 9th at 11:59pm EDT
All recipients must meet these minimum requirements to be considered:
- Member of the Class of 2025 or 2026
- Full-time status
- Minimum 4.0 GPA
- Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree that is beneficial to Chevron business (Courses 1, 2, 6 and 10 preferred)
- Must demonstrate knowledge and interest in Chevron and energy industry
Additional requirements by class:
Sophomores (Class of 2026):
- A minimum of 1 membership in a technical society or extra-curricular activity (ex. NOBCChE, MAES, NSBE, SHPE, SWE, AIChE, ACS, Fraternity/Sorority, etc.)
- A minimum of 1 Energy related internship OR non-technical work experience preferred, but not required
Juniors (Class of 2025):
- A minimum of 1 leadership role in a technical society or extra-curricular activity (ex. NOBCChE, MAES, NSBE, SHPE, SWE, AIChE, ACS, Fraternity/Sorority, etc.)
- A minimum of 1 technical internship related to field of study
