Industrial Advisory Council for Minority Education (IACME)

The IACME mission is to ensure both greater retention and higher academic achievement for all MIT students—including underrepresented minority students—through the active support of, and participation in, the OME’s outlined goals.

Established in the 1990–1991 academic year as an advisory body to the OME, the Industrial Advisory Council for Minority Education (IACME) promotes the direct involvement of industry in the educational development of MIT students.
