OME Student Advisory Council (OMESAC)

In promoting the goal to facilitate student excellence at MIT and beyond, OME strives to develop leaders who will assume greater participation and influence among peers who take part in minority-student groups, in living groups, and with campus-wide responsibilities.

The OME Student Advisory Council (OMESAC) is comprised of student leaders from several MIT cultural and professional student groups. Each month, during the academic year, the OME staff meets with the council to develop an on-going dialogue about current and future OME programs and services. OMESAC members also help the OME keep abreast of student needs as well as any other relevant issues within the larger MIT community.
